With a focus on politically and socially engaged theatre, Lotte has worked as associate director of Blink Theatre, since directing The Collector in 2014. Since then Lotte has directed numerous pieces for Blink, to critical acclaim, including the regular short-play event, Response, for emerging and under-represented artists at The Old Red Lion Theatre. Lotte took on the role of Artistic Director in July 2018. Lotte has an MA in Actor Training and Coaching from RCSSD and is currently Head of Acting at City Academy.
Lotte has previously taught for Identity School of Acting, Rose Bruford, Bird College and The Actors Centre. With a determination to make theatre and actor training diverse, accessible and representative of the society we live in, Lotte has also directed at venues including The Arcola, Theatre 503, The Space, The Lion and Unicorn & The Kings Head Theatre.
Scarlett Alice Johnson
Scarlett Alice Johnson is an established actor whose work has spanned Theatre, TV, Film and Radio over 15 years.
Scarlett's credits includes work with The Royal Court, Paines Plough, Soho Theatre, Theatre 503, BBC, Channel 4, Sky Arts, ITV and Warner Bros. Her depth of experience in these varied and multi-disciplined platforms gives her invaluable insight into the complexities of creating and delivering new work.
Scarlett is passionate about theatre as a means for change and an advocate for equality within the Arts. Scarlett champions under represented and emerging writers and actors and is delighted to be a part of the Blink. Theatre team.
Benjamin is an actor, singer and writer. He trained in Fine Art at before pursuing new creative practice, and graduated with an MA (Distinction) from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. As a writer, he has taken part in writing programmes at the Finborough and Royal Court Theatres - and he has sung at the Opera di Firenze in Florence.
Benjamin believes in the power of developing new creative skills as a part of a holistic artistic practice. This informs his work as an actor, writer and theatre maker. As an actor, Benjamin has worked at The Park Theatre, Opera di Firenze, The Greenwich Theatre, The Space, The Old Red Lion and others. He has worked with industry professionals including Alessandro Talevi, Maria Huesca, Jo Davies, Steve Elias, Joe Deer, Sam Jones and Adebayo Bolaji.
Benjamin set up Blink. Theatre with Amy Gardyne in 2014 and has worked with the company as an actor (The Collector, Mr Kolpert), writer (Response) and producer (Response 2 Power, Gun Metal Blue). He believes Blink is one of the most important emerging companies championing new and under-represented voices.
priscilla Lafayette Perez
Priscilla received her training on the Young Vic Directors programme led by Sacha Wares and is a Drama & Media graduate.
She is Currently assisting Caroline Bryne on Spring Awakening at the Young Vic.
Her Directing / movement directing and writing credits include ; Southwark Playhouse, National theatre, Guildhall, Camden Peoples Theatre, Theatre503, Mulberry Theatre, Wimbledon Arts College and Old Red Lion Theatre. She is passionate about creating work that places humanity at the centre and pushes the boundaries of art.
