Blink Theatre have produced a number of shows, both new writing and published plays, at various London fringe venues including The Old Red Lion, The Courtyard Theatre, The Lion and Unicorn Theatre and The Space Theatre.

As artistic director, Lotte Ruth Johnson is firmly focussed on creating platforms for emerging and under-represented writers, actors and directors and nurturing new work through the renowned Response new writing series. Response is back in April 2021 for it's 5th event, ESCAPE.

Blink Theatre was founded in 2014 with the 5* debut production, The Collector by Mark Healy. This was soon followed by a rep season including the new brand play Chaser by Howard Thompson and Mr Kolpert by David Gieselmann.

Through the regular Response series, showcasing short solo pieces, Blink was also able to select and produce the full length solo show Quarry, Written by Rachel Smart and performed at The Old Red Lion Theatre in 2018.

After the unavoidable break of 2020, Blink Theatre is back and has turned to online productions with a focus on bringing people together, including a brand new play! With a successful online rehearsed reading in January 2021, Open Return by Ben Worth will now be streamed as part of Brighton Fringe Festival in May and June.
